The adoption fee for dogs varies depending on age or breed
The adoption fee ranges between $250 – $450
The adoption fee for cats/kittens is $85 – completely vetted

You must complete an application, provide two years of vet records, allow a home visit, and…
- Be at least 25 years of age with the responsibility of maintaining your own household (no full-time students)
- Provide picture identification (driver’s license preferred) and proof of your current address
- Have the consent and knowledge of all adults living in the household to adopt a pet
- Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide for the training, medical treatment and recommended veterinary care for the pet
- Agree to consider the pet as a member of the family and provide it with indoor shelter
- Provide proof (vet records) that all pets in the adopting household have been spayed or neutered, and are current on vaccinations and consistent with heartworm prevention
THE APPLICATION PROCESS
You must fill out an application and provide proof that current or past dogs are or were altered, up-to-date on shots and on heartworm prevention
- Once approved, you will borrow the pet for a one-week trial home visit to make sure that this is the right fit for the pet and for your family
- The pet must wear his or her ID tags at all times
- If it doesn’t work out, we will take the pet back
- If it’s a great fit, then you can finalize the adoption by signing an adoption contract after the one-week trial home visit
- The pet will come fully vaccinated and heartworm negative, spayed/neutered and microchipped, collar, leash, and ID tags. Adult dogs will come with harnesses
Under-age children:
We reserve the right to deny any application when the age of the children in the household is inappropriate to the age or size of the pet being adopted
