Poor Lily was found in absolutely deplorable condition. Her eyes were withered and dry, half of her hair was gone, and the other half was a matted mess.
Her skin was bright red and hot to the touch due to an active and extensive yeast infection. Her nails were so long they had begun to curl to the sides and into her paw, making it painful to walk. She was thin, weak and shaking.
She was taken to our eye specialist and we saw great improvement in her sight and she learned what love was at her amazing foster home.
Lily ended up partially blind due to her neglect, but gets around just fine. A family saw her story and wanted to meet her!! Lily got adopted and her family says she can easily navigate around their house, especially when food or her people are involved!
